Enter the NCPA Book Awards

• Any author or publisher may enter a book they wrote or published.
• Both print and eBook entries are welcome. Paper books must be submitted in four copies; eBooks must be submitted as a MOBI or PDF file only.
• Winners will be chosen in multiple categories. See rules for details.

Submission Criteria

• Books must have been published for sale in the 2025 calendar year, that is, between January 1, 2025, and December 31, 2025.
• New, updated editions are acceptable as long as the update was published in 2025.
• To be considered “published,” copies of the book in its published form (not merely as galley or advanced reader copies) must have been on hand and available for sale to retail consumers on or before December 31, 2025, and not have been for sale earlier than January 1, 2025.
•  If the copyright year or Library of Congress year (if present) is not 2025, the entrant must supply supporting evidence that the book was “constructively” published in 2025.
• Book must be in printed form, unless entered in the e-book category.

Dates & Prices

• You do NOT have to be a member of NCPA to enter, but members receive a discount on the entry fee ($65 vs $95)
• Submit books by May 31, 2026. Late submissions accepted until July 1 for additional $20 fee
• Each entry includes one ticket to the Book Awards Banquet scheduled for Sunday, September 27, 2026
